It has been alleged that most of the listed officers appointed as new Deputy Commissioner (DC) are Hasina backed. As a result, the unrest over appointment does not stop. Deprived officials have been seen applying pressure to change administrative decisions. The officials who were appointed as DCs in separate notifications of the Ministry of Public Administration last Monday and Tuesday (September 9 and 10) have been asked not to join the new posts. They have been asked to continue working at their previous workplace until further instructions.
Meanwhile, the government has canceled the appointment of 8 new people in the face of unrest in the secretariat. At the same time four more district DCs have been reshuffled. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Dr Mokhlesur Rahman, gave this information to the journalists present at the secretariat on yesterday. He said the fit listing is usually done through a selection committee, which met today. The appointment of eight persons has been canceled after review. The districts are - Lakshmipur, Jaipurhat, Kushtia, Rajshahi, Shariatpur, Dinajpur, Rajbari and Sirajganj.
Mokhlesur Rahman also said that the post of DC of 4 districts has been reshuffled. Among these, DC of Tangail has been shifted to Panchagarh, DC of Nilphamari to Tangail, DC of Natore to Lakshmipur and DC of Panchagarh to Nilphamari.
Awami Roster of Appointed DCs:
According to special sources, DC of Shariatpur, Abdul Aziz (15895), was PS of former Minister of State for Planning Samsul Alam, DC of Natore Rajeeb Kumar Sarkar (16054), his Father Jatin Kumar Sarkar is Sherpur District Awami League General Secretary.
Farhana Islam, 24 batch newsreader of Gazi TV, blessed by former shipping minister Shahjahan Khan, has become the DC of Kushtia. It has also emerged that she has a special affinity with former jute minister Golam Dastagir. Kamrul Hasan Mollah DC of Faridpur is sister-in-law of Dhaka DC Mr Tanbir Ahmed (15711).
Project Director of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City-2 Project 25 Batch Md Saiduzzaman Jaipurhat became DC, this Saiduzzaman hosted the official banquet on 21 February while UNO of Delduar, Tangail (24/08/2014 to 03/12/2015) and was withdrawn due to criticism. He is the project director of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City with Tk fifteen hundred crore budgets and accused in a corruption case during AC land in Dhaka.
Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of previous Government Culture Ministry Secretary Khalil Ahmed Rajib Kumar Sarkar of 27 batch Natore DC, his father-in-law Jatin Sarkar. Jatin Sarkar received the Freedom Award in 2010. His father-in-law is District Awami League President and private person of Kamal Abdul Nasser (Chief Secretary of the fascist Hasina government).
Saiful Islam of 24 batche was working in Bangladesh Mission in Kolkata during the previous government.

Chandpur DC Mohammad Mohsin Uddin of 24th batch was posted as Additional Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur on March 27, 2024 by the previous government. However, he was promoted to the post of DC.
Nafisa Arefin of 24th batch became the DC of Gazipur, her husband Rafiqul Islam of the same batch became the PS of the Commerce Minister after the last January 2024 elections.
Dhaka DC Tanbir Ahmed was the PS of former Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Mohammad Shahidul Haque. Chowdhury Moazzem Ahmed District Commissioner Gaibandha. He has been working in the Council of Ministers for a long time and Member of Awami family and directly involved in Awami politics.
Khandkar Ishtiaq District Commissioner, Noakhali, has been working in the Council of Ministers for a long time, i.e. more than five years. Member of Awami family and directly involved in BCL politics.

Banani Biswas' Netrakona has been ordered as DC. Accused of corruption while CEO of Mymensingh's Zilla Parishad and her husband Dr Bibek is directly involved with the Freedom Doctors Parishad. Abdul Aziz appointed as Deputy Commissioner Shariatpur - He was the PS of the previous Awami Government Planning Minister Shamsul Alam.
Sharmin Akhter Jahan posted in Narail district - she was the member secretary of appointment committee of the mentioned health ministry, due to the problem of money sharing, she himself made news in the newspaper "I will give Tk one crore now, later you will get more".
Nusrat Sultana is posted in Kurigram district - her husband is involved in Jamaat politics at Chittagong University and she calls herself nephew of Dr Yunus. Mobashsherul Islam of 27th batch got posting as DC of Dinajpur, a large district of North Bengal; he was also PS of former Deputy Water Resources Minister Enamul Haque Shamim.
Also, Fatema Tul has been posted in Jannat-Munshiganj district, Ahmed Kamrul Hasan-Bagerhat district, Sifat Mehnaz-Meherpur district, Delwar Hossain-Barisal district, Israt Farzana-Thakurgaon district, each of their names were in the DC fitlist of the previous Awami government. The list was directed by the influential and corrupt Additional Secretary Sayla Farzana and former Minister of State for Public Administration Farhad Hossain.
Inquiry committee formed:
A committee constituted to investigate the ruckus caused by the dissatisfaction of deprived officials. It is said that (September 10) a special committee has been formed under the leadership of MA Akmal Hossain Azad, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to investigate the cause of the unexpected incident in the Ministry of Public Administration. The committee will submit its report within the next seven working days.
