White egret in green forest

A dense green forest has developed near the banks of the Kapotaksh and Shakbaria rivers in Koira Upazila of Khulna. Almost all species of trees from Golpata, Keora to mangrove forest are here. From the afternoon, the fodder trees look amazing with various birds including bucks, pankauris. The area is filled with the chirping and chirping of birds. As the white buck sits, looking at the trees, it seems that white flowers are blooming all over the branches. The visitors were impressed by such a scene.

Ranjan Mridha, president of Koyra Development Co-ordinating Committee, said that most of the birds cannot return to their homeland after the winter due to the persecution of a group of greedy hunters. It is very sad. Birds are ornaments of nature. It must be protected. However, bird hunting cannot be stopped only by law, people from all walks of life should be aware of this.

Md Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Koira police station, said that bird hunting is a punishable crime. Local residents should be wary of poachers. They should be caught and handed over to the police. So that no one can hunt even a single bird under any circumstances.
