Goaland Ghat Police arrested a professional drug dealer and 10 absconding accused with 520 pieces of Yaba pills in Goaland of Rajbari. Swapan Kumar Majumdar, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Goaland Ghat Police Station informed this information in a circular sent on Friday (August 18) afternoon.
The arrested drug dealer is Ayub Sardar (48), son of deceased Siraj Sardar of Daulatdia New Para. And the absconding accused under the warrant are, the accused Mo Salam Bepari (45) under the warrant of GR No. 273/21, the accused Mst Rahima Khatun (30) under the warrant of GR No. 302/19, the accused under the warrant of GR No. 70/19 Mo Rubel Mandal (21), accused Mo Asadul Bepari (26) under the warrant of GR No. 79/13, accused Bebi Begum (26) under the warrant of GR No. 170/14, accused Mo Wahidul Islam Sajan (27) under the warrant of GR No. 593/22 ), GR No. 20/19 warrant accused A Quader Sardar (44), GR No. 52/19 warrant accused Mo Akash Mollah (22), NonGR No. 322/21 warrant accused Wahab Sheikh (60) and GR Accused Mo Razzak alias Raja Sardar (40) under warrant of sentence 20/18.
In this regard, OC Swapan Kumar Majumder said that on Thursday night, on the basis of secret information, SI Mo Ashraful Islam along with the officer force arrested Ayub along with 520 pieces of yaba. He is a professional drug dealer and 9 cases including 8 drug cases are pending in the court against him. On the other hand, Police Inspector (Investigation) Uttam Kumar Ghosh, SI ASM Isha Khan, ASI Md Shahidul Islam, Md. Farooq Hossain, Md Sadekur Rahman, Sohel Rana, along with the joint force, arrested 10 absconding accused in a joint operation. All the accused have been sent to the court, said the official.
