365 mandaps set up in Kishoreganj

Autumn Durga festival, one of the main religious festivals of the Hindu community, has started in Kishoreganj with Shashti Puja in 365 pavilions.

The last minute work of setting up idols is going on in Kishoreganj around the biggest festival of Sanatani. Meanwhile, the idol is prepared for pooja after the final scratching of the tuli. Now the work of decorating the pandal is going on. On the other hand, the administration officials have announced all kinds of initiatives to make the worship peaceful.

According to Sanatan Shastra, the world is blessed by the arrival of Goddess Mahamaya Durga in autumn. Therefore, the moment the goddess was welcomed, there was a wave of joy among the devotees.

Devotees of the Hindu community believe that Goddess Durga comes to them every year with a message of happiness and peace. This time they pray that the whole world becomes peaceful with the arrival of Mother Durga.

Apu Saha of the district town said, we are all very happy on the occasion of mother's arrival. I shopped for the whole family. From Saptami to Navami, I will offer flowers to mother's night feet.

Raju Saha of Sahapara area of ​​the district city said, we are eagerly waiting when Mahendrakshan will come. I will offer flowers to the feet of the mother. Now the world will pray to Mother Mother for ten years for the country to keep us free from all diseases.

District Puja Celebration Committee President Narayan Dutta Pradeep said, we are very happy with the arrival of mother this year. Our preparations are almost at an end. In the mandap the idol is brought. Some decorating work is in progress. Now the waiting time is calculated. We will offer Pupanjali to Mother's Ratul Charan along with all the Puja Committee along with the neighborhood and neighbors within the scheduled time according to the calendar date.

Narayan Dutta Pradeep, President of the District Puja Celebration Council, said that a total of 365 mandaps have been organized in 13 upazilas and 8 municipalities of the district. Last year there were 403. Additional District Magistrate Mizabe Rahmat said that 27 executive magistrates have been appointed to supervise law and order on the occasion of Durga Puja. Besides, 13 vigilance teams have been formed in 6 districts and 13 upazilas.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Mostak Sarkar said that thousands of policemen in army uniforms and plain clothes have been deployed on the occasion of the puja. District Ansar Commandant Shubhra Chowdhury said that two thousand 388 Ansars have been deployed in the district this time. Among them, 8 male and two female Ansars will be deployed in the important mandapams and 6 male and two female Ansars in the second important mandapams. Besides, it is said that there will be army and RAB patrols.

The five-day Durg puja ceremony will end on October 13 on Bijaya Dashami.
