79 unemployed got jobs through a Job Fair arranged by the Barishal Technical Traning Center (BMTTC) and cooperation with the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) recently.
The National Expatriates Day will be observed in the country on Saturday for the first time at the initiative of the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment with the theme "Probashir Kalyan, Morzada- Amader Ongikar, Smart Bangladesh Goray Tarao Soman Ongshidar".
BMTTC organized a colorful rally discussion meeting, expatriate fair, and job fair to celebrate the day.
Ahmed Al Emran, Principal of BMTTC informed More than 200 unemployed people took part in registration, and 79 unemployed got jobs at this job fair.
He said, our 50 percent expatriates are unskilled, if we able to skill our manpower, our remittance will be double. Our women's employment should be skilled to achieve women empowerment.
Additional Deputy Magistrate Md. Sohel Maruf was the chief guest on this event.
Hi-Tech Engineering, Premier Footwear, MJ Industries, Sonargaon Textile, Concrete Building and Design, Earti Saifa Energy Pac, Engineering BD Network, Hotel Grand Park, Bengal Biscute, Graphics Touch, Ray Graphics, Amin Garments were participated in this job fair.
