The police recovered the hanging body of a bank officer named Rafiqul Islam (50) from the building of Sonali Bank Rangamati principal branch. Kotwali police station of Rangamati recovered the body on Sunday evening.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali police station Saheed Uddin said, as soon as we got the news of the incident, we went there and recovered the body in a hanging state. After recovery, the body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem. The actual cause of the incident will be known after the autopsy.
