BNP leaders and activists are guarding the Puja Mandap, referring to Central BNP Faridpur Divisional Organizing Secretary (suspended) Shama Obaid Islam Rinku said that Bangladesh is a country where people of different religions live.

Everyone should cooperate in celebrating Sharadiya Durga Puja, the big religious festival of Sanatan Dharma followers while maintaining communal harmony. He said this while visiting various puja mandapas of Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur last Friday night. At that time, the leaders of the district and upazila BNP and the organizations were with him. BNP leaders and activists led by Shama Obaid visited the upazila including at least ten puja mandapas of Nagarkanda municipality. At this time, he handed over cash to the mandap authorities.
