To protest against terrorism and anarchy and arrest those involved in the killing of Central Swechasebak Dal Sports Secretary Shawkat Ali Didar in terrorist attack in Gopalganj, the leaders and activists of the district BNP and allied organizations held a protest march in Rajbari and held an exchange meeting with the new Superintendent of Police Mst Shamima Parvin.
The exchange meeting was held yesterday afternoon in the conference room of the office of the Superintendent of Police. After the exchange meeting, a protest march was taken out from the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
The procession circled the main road of the city and ended at the district BNP office. District BNP convenor Advocate Liaqat Ali Babu, joint convener and vice-president of central Krishak Dal, Advocate Md Aslam Mia, former general secretary Harun Or Rashid Harun, member secretary Advocate Kamrul Alam and others spoke there. Leaders and activists of district, upazila, municipal BNP and organizations were also present.
The speakers said that BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman's orders cannot create any kind of anarchic situation. But some famous persons are creating anarchy by defaming the name of BNP by extortion, grabbing land, beating and vandalizing. Party action will be taken against them. Action will be taken against those involved in the terrorist attack in Gopalganj and the arrest of those involved in the killing of the sports secretary of the Central Swechasebak Dal, Shawkat Ali Didar, and the despicable attack on the terror-anarchy protest program in Chandani. They also condemned the conspiracy and poisoning involving the family of Advocate Md Aslam Miar.
