After a long 14 years, the Chuadanga district BNP conference was held. The conference activities began at 10:40 am yesterday with the hoisting of the national and party flags to the tune of the national anthem. Later, recitation from the Holy Quran and Gita were recited.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir delivered the inaugural speech in the first session of the conference. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman joined the conference as the chief guest and spoke virtually. At this time, he said that by making the conference a success, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will build Bangladesh into a peaceful, orderly and developed country through the selection of leadership in the coming days and the right leadership in the next parliamentary elections.
District BNP convener Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu presided over the conference and District BNP Member Secretary Md Sharifuzzaman Sharif moderated the program, and BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Khulna Division Organizing Secretary Anindya Islam Amit, Joint Organizing Secretary Jayanta Kumar Kundu, and National Executive Committee Information Secretary Azizul Bari Helal were present as special guests.
It is worth noting that the last BNP conference was held in Chuadanga district in 2010. The activities of Chuadanga District BNP became lively with the presence and speeches of local and central leaders at this conference organized after a long break.
