Cancer-stricken child Jamila wants to live

Little baby Jamila. Sitting at home with unbearable pain in the eyes. Both daylight and electric light at night were now painful to him.

But like all other children, she arrived in this world only six years ago. But in this short time the light of the world has now become gloomy to her. She was diagnosed with incurable cancer in his left eye. If the eye is removed through surgery, Jamila can return to normal life.

However, Sohel Howladar, the poor father of sick Jamila, a resident of Hasnapara village of Lalua Union in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali, is unable to afford the treatment. He is seeking financial help from the rich people of the society to save his daughter.

It is known that Jamila's left eye first developed a problem a few months ago. It gradually becomes itchy and red with a white coating over the eyes. After that, two cataract operations were performed on the doctor's advice, but the problem was not resolved. The last doctor said that the tumor in his eye had turned into cancer. But the cancer has so far been confined to the eye. If the eye is not removed, it is likely to be life-threatening. Currently, the eye tumor has grown and has come out. Tears are constantly pouring from the eyes, no light can stand.

Kalapara upazila Nirbahi officer Md Rabiul Islam said, he has seen the child. He was diagnosed with eye cancer. Officially assured that the child's treatment will be supported from the funds of the chief adviser and the unexpected funds of the upazila parishad. Besides, he called upon all the society to provide financial support to save the child's life.
