Child found dead, six missing

The body of a child was recovered from a boat sinking in Teesta River in Bajra Union of Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram. Relatives said that 6 people are still missing. On Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm, the missing incident took place after a boat capsized while going to a wedding in Saptana area of ​​Kaunia upazila of Rangpur with 25 passengers. In this regard, Ulipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ataur Rahman said that according to the words of the boat passengers, we have come to know that 6 more passengers on the boat are missing. A team of divers from Rangpur is searching the Teesta river to rescue them. No one has been found so far.
