Children‍‍`s conference held in Gopalganj

A children's conference was held in Gopalganj on the occasion of World Children's Day-2024 in the joint initiative of Kochi Kanther Asar USA and Children's Voyage.

About 5 thousand children and teenagers participated in this conference. The conference was held at Surupi Salinaboksa High School ground of Muksudpur Upazila of Gopalganj yesterday afternoon. Muksudpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Azizur Rahman spoke as the chief guest on the occasion. Hemayet Hossain Lashkar, founder and president of USA Kochi Kanther Asar, presided over the event.

Muksudpur Upazila Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Kamruzzaman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Shahadat Hossain Molla, Muksudpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Mostafa Kamal, Head Teacher Lulu Hossain Munsi and others spoke.

Before this, the guests, teachers and students of the school organized a colorful rally. Hemayet Hossain Laskar, the founder and president of the USA Kochi Kanther Asar, said that on this day of Children's Day, everyone should try to ensure that all the children of the world get their rightful rights. Because today's child is tomorrow's future. He also demanded an end to the killing of children in different parts of the world, especially in Palestine, Gaza and Syria.

Chief Guest Muksudpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Azizur Rahman said that children must be timely in new Bangladesh. They should be more focused in studies. Only then will our country move forward. Because the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. At the end of the program, lunch was distributed among 5 thousand children and teenagers.
