On the occasion of proper observance of the upcoming Sharadiya Durgoutsav 2024, an exchange meeting was held with the Dinajpur Municipal Administrator and Sanatan religious people.
Dinajpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) and Dinajpur Municipality Administrator Mohammad Noor-e-Alam presided over the exchange meeting held at Fatehul Alam Dulal auditorium of the municipality yesterday at 12 noon.
Dinajpur Municipal Nirbahi Officer Md Mahbubur Rahman, Municipal Executive Engineer Md Tofazzal Hossain, Assistant Engineer Md Mizanur Rahman Siddiqui, Municipal Chief Assistant Md Mujibur Rahman Bacchu, Dinajpur District Puja Celebration Parishad General Secretary Uttam Kumar were present in the meeting. Besides, General Secretary of Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad District Branch Ratan Singh, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front Central Committee Assistant Secretary General Lalbabu Prasad Kanu, Dinajpur District Branch Convener Uttam Kumar Roy and heads of various branches of the municipality were present.
In the discussion meeting, the municipal administrator heard the various problems of Sanatan religious leaders on the occasion of the upcoming Autumn Durgo Festival and assured to solve these problems. It should be noted that this year Durga Puja will be held in total 43 mandaps in 12 wards of Dinajpur Municipality. Apart from this, Durga Puja will be held in 127 mandaps in 13 upazilas of Dinajpur district.
