Habiganj District Police organized a discussion meeting on law and order yesterday in the conference room of the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) on the occasion of upcoming autumn Durga Puja 2024. Habiganj Superintendent of Police Rezaul Haque Khan presided over the meeting.
He said in his speech that the Habiganj district police have taken all kinds of measures to celebrate the upcoming autumn Durga Puja in a cordial and peaceful atmosphere. The Superintendent of Police also mentioned in his speech that all kinds of police measures will be taken to ensure security during idol preparation, during idol preparation and puja and to maintain law and order situation in the district. He also emphasized on maintaining communal harmony in the meeting and to prevent any provocation or rumour. Also Mr Md Shamsul Haque, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance), Habiganj, Aminul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops), Habiganj, Abul Khair, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Bahubal Circle), Nirmlendu Chakraborty, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Madhabpur Circle), honorable members of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad along with leaders of Puja Udjapan Parishad of each upazilas of the district.
