Dumbar meat sent by the government of Saudi Arabia has been distributed to orphanages of different Madrasahs of Matiranga Upazila of Khagrachhari District. Matiranga Upazila Nirbahi Officer Daisy Chatruvarty delivered Dumbar meat to different orphanages of the upazila on the same night after Dumbar meat reached the upazila level from Khagrachari District Commissioner's office in the afternoon. Matiranga Upazila Project Implementation Officer Ishtiaq Ahmed, Matiranga Upazila Project Implementation Office Deputy Assistant Engineer Ruhul Amin, Matiranga Press Club Vice President Jasim Uddin Zainal, Matiranga Press Club General Secretary Mujibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Journalist Sagar Chatruvarti Kamal were present. According to Upazila Parishad sources, 19 cartoon meats were allocated from the district to the Upazila level. According to all the union chairmen of the upazila, the Dumba meats were distributed to various orphanages under the supervision of the administration on Tuesday night.
Matiranga Upazila Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Ishtiaq Ahmed said that the Saudi government sends dumba meat to Bangladesh every year for distribution among the poor and needy. According to the list, Dumba meat has been ordered to be distributed to the poor, orphanages, and madrasahs. Accordingly, this meat has been distributed to the orphanages of different unions of the upazila.
