Dhamrai police recovered the body of a housewife named Taslima Akhter (23), wife of a Saudi expatriate, in Dhaka's Dhamrai. Dhamrai Thana police recovered the body yesterday morning. The deceased Taslima Akhtar is the daughter of Narul Islam of Laskarchala area of Kashimpur upazila of Gazipur district.
Deceased Taslima's husband, expatriate Saudi Maulana Mahbub Rahman Babu is the son of Maulana Osman Gani of Kalampur in Dhamrai upazila. Taslima lived in her house with her children. Taslima Akhtar's father-in-law Osman Gani said, "When I went to pray in the morning, my grandson came out of the house and hugged me and cried. Later, I saw my daughter-in-law hanging in the house." In this regard, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Dhamrai police station Md Nasir Uddin said, after receiving information, the body was recovered from the spot. The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical for autopsy. Legal action is pending.
