The anti-discrimination student movement has formed a human chain to demand the resignation of Vice Chancellor (VC) Zakir Hossain of Kurigram Agricultural University.
An hour-long human chain was held yesterday morning in front of the Kurigram Press Club under the banner of the anti-discrimination student movement of the Kurigram branch. Alam, Faisal Ahmed Sagar, Abdul Aziz Nahid, Shipon Sarkar, Abdur Razzaq Raj, Ragib Patwari, Khandaker Al Imran, Mahmudul Hasan Limon and others spoke at this time.
The anti-discrimination students in the human chain said that VC Zakir Hossain was appointed by the Awami fascist government, several office bearers of the Awami League and corrupt. He is running the administration with the help of fugitive Awami Dosars even after the 2nd independence won by the students. The resignation of VC Zakir Hossain is necessary to retain the benefits of the second independence. If he does not resign, he will be declared undesirable in the district. Therefore, he demanded that he should resign by October 25. They also announced to send a memorandum in this regard to the Education Advisor through the District Commissioner.
