Sanatan religious people have carried out a human chain program in Jhenaidah to demand 5-point demands including minority ministry, formation of protection committee, allotment of parliamentary seats and security. This program was celebrated under the banner of Kaliganj traditional community in Madhuganj market of Kaliganj upazila city. Traditional communities living in different areas of the upazila participated with banner festoons.
Thithi Rani Bhadra, President of Kaliganj Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad, Prashant Kha, General Secretary of Puja celebration Parishad and others spoke in this hour-long program.
The speakers, along with accepting their demands, protested against the vandalism of temples, houses and looting of traditional religions in different parts of the country and demanded security for everyone.
