10th grade is not our demand, it is our right, rejecting the proposal of 12th grade, primary assistant teachers held a human chain and protest march in Barisal with one point, one demand to implement 10th grade. Yesterday at 12 noon, primary assistant teachers of Barisal district organized a human chain in front of Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTI) in Sagardi area of Barisal city.
The assistant teachers who are training in chain said that the head teachers have to determine the salary of the assistant teachers in the next step. The agitation will continue until our demands are not accepted. The assistant teacher Saidur Rahman presided over the human bond organized under the slogan 'Assistant teachers build unity, get fair demands'. Primary assistant teachers Anup Das, Miraj Ahmed, Palash Sikder, Ripon Howladar and others spoke in the human chain.
