Kathin Chibar Dan of International Birdshan Nanda Bansh Bhabna Kendra of Rangamati District Rajasthani Upazila No 3 Bangalhalia Union was held.
Cheebar donation ceremony was presided over by Nanda Vansh Mahathero, founder of International Vision Center, No 3 Bangalhalia UP Chairman Adomong Marma, at 8 am yesterday.
Also present are Buddhist social workers from far and wide including Biharadhya Ksha vikkhu.
At 8:30 am, the Buddhist flag was hoisted by chanting the auspicious Kathin Chibar Dan. The Buddhists of the Barua community of Bangladesh concluded the Asadhi Purnima Tithi on Wednesday and began today with a focus on the entire month of October.
The chief guest Adomong Marma said, this October month, after the end of the second big Ashadi Purnima Tithi of Buddhism, Kathin Chibar Dan Kalpatru Donation, Lamp Puja, Flower Puja and Choang Donation are done every year. I want to spread the peaceful religion of Buddhism all over the world. Karma we believe must be accepted. I pray to God that all communities live in peace irrespective of religion and caste.
