Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal has held a rally in Alfadanga, Faridpur, demanding the hanging of Sheikh Hasina by calling her a murderer.
Former MP Khandaker Nasirul Islam, vice-president of the Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal Central Committee, was the chief guest at the rally organized by Alfadanga Upazila Krishak Dal on Monday afternoon.
In his speech as the chief guest, he said that although the murderer Hasina has fled, her accomplices are still alive. Wherever Awami League is found, it will be resisted. He said that during the Awami League regime, leaders and activists could not sleep at home, many were victims of enforced disappearances. Fascist Sheikh Hasina should be brought to justice and hanged for these enforced disappearances.
Warning his party leaders and activists, he said that strict action will be taken against any leader and activist of the party who extorts money.
Leaders and activists of BNP and Krishak Dal, including its affiliates, were present at the rally, chaired by Hadi Zia, convener of Alfadanga Upazila Krishak Dal.
