Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Golam Sarwar conducted the mobile court at Kasba Old Bazaar yesterday afternoon.
During the operation of mobile courts, traders were instructed not to use banned polythene and the public in the market was discouraged from using polythene. At that time, for selling and using polyethylene on a commercial basis, a fine of Tk 5 thousand was imposed in 3 cases and 120 kg of polyethylene was seized.
