National Girl Child Day was celebrated in Sreepur, Magura. Organized by the upazila administration and the upazila women affairs officer's office, the rally came out from the upazila parishad square and met in a discussion meeting at the upazila parishad auditorium yesterday morning.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rakhi Banerjee presided over the discussion meeting and gave the welcome speech by Upazila Women Affairs Officer Gaurango Kumar Mandal. Sripur Press Club member secretary Ashraf Hossain Paltu moderated.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Mamun Sharif, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md Abdul Gani, Upazila Youth Development Officer Riaz Uddin, Upazila Jamaat Islam General Secretary and former Upazila Vice Chairman Upazila Molya Mizanur Rahman etc spoke in the discussion meeting.
