Educational materials and winter clothes have been distributed to primary school children in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
These materials were distributed to 800 children from ten primary schools by the upazila administration at yesterday at 10 am.
The educational materials include school bags, notebooks, pens and umbrellas. In addition, winter clothes were distributed to the students.
Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman was present as the chief guest and distributed these materials to the students.
Under the chairmanship of Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Moinul Haque, Gopalganj Additional Deputy Commissioner and Tungipara Municipal Administrator Md Golam Kabir, Upazila Education Officer Masudur Rahman, Project Implementation Officer Ariful Islam, etc., among others, addressed the students.
Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman said that the district and upazila administration is taking various initiatives to prevent students from dropping out of primary schools. These educational materials and winter clothes have been distributed to the students to help them go to school. In addition, the administration is going to work on organizing swimming competitions and sports to ensure 100% participation of the students in school.
