Farmer training and distribution of free sesame seeds on 'Introduction of High Yielding Sesame Varieties, Cultivation Techniques and Prospects in Hill Regions' was held at Matiranga of Khagrachari.
This program was organized by the Bangladesh Atomic Agricultural Research Institute (BINA) Khagrachari sub-center yesterday morning. Mirza Mofazzal Islam, BINA Director General (DG) inaugurated the program as the virtual chief guest in this day-long event with the support of the Matiranga Upazila Agriculture Office.
The program was presided over by Upazila Agriculture Officer Sabuj Ali. Kishore Kumar Majumdar, Deputy Director of the Khagrachari Agricultural Extension Department, and Basirul Alam, District Training Officer of the Khagrachari Agricultural Extension Department spoke.
