Member of Khagrachari Hill District Council and convener of the organizing committee Shubmangal Chakma gave the welcome address.
State Minister Kujendra Lal Tripura MP also said that the Hill Buddhist Mission (PBM) Orphanage was re-opened today in the presence of enlightened and intelligent people. Orphanages are places where the helpless or destitute are cared for. Giving shelter to orphans in orphanages is a noble work.
The State Minister said, we are human beings. Among men, those who have attained eternal life are noble and great. Great and great people have come and gone. They have worked for the welfare of people. Lord Krishna, Prophet (PBUH), Jesus Christ, and Gautama Buddha were great men.

The state minister also said that there is a need for unity in the larger interests of life. All should come closer to each other by removing disunity for petty interests. Because of his broad and visionary thinking, Reverend Gnanashree Bhante built educational institutions like Parbatya Chattal Orphanage in Dighinala in the seventies and Reverend Sumanalankar Bhante PBM at Kamalchari in Khagrachari in the eighties. The responsibility of nurturing and advancing the creation of these noble people must be fulfilled together.
