Sarjis also said, murderer Hasina had held power at the top of her lungs all her life by singing songs about her family. Wherever she went, she cried for her family. 18 people in her family, not these 2,000 people! Her chest did not tremble a bit when they were killed. How can we console the parents, brothers and sisters of the martyred family whose brother was martyred today, whose sister was martyred?
At the District Shilpakala Academy, 79 martyr families of Barisal division will be provided financial assistance of Tk 5 lakh each by the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation. In this regard, Sarjis said, under the 'Bangladesh by the side of the martyrs' program, we are initially giving checks of Tk 5 lakh each by the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation. This is just the beginning, without thinking that this is the end. We will try our best to fulfill their logical needs as long as they need them.
Barisal Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Bakerganj Circle) Md Alaul Hasan, Barisal Civil Surgeon Dr. Moria Hasan and several central and local coordinators were present at the event.
Cheques of Tk 5 lakh each were distributed among 79 families of 134 martyrs in 6 districts of Barisal division. It was informed that assistance will be provided to others in phases.
