Pen break of copyists

As part of the central program, fake copyists (copyists) working in 516 sub-registry offices of Bangladesh are holding a pen break and sit-in program in Kurigram for one-point demand for nationalization of their jobs.

Fake copyists working in front of the Sadar Sub-Registry Office held this program yesterday afternoon. They have been carrying out this program for thirty-seven consecutive days. It is also known that they have carried out this program at the upazila level.

The copyists participating in the movement said that they have contributed to the country's revenue sector. They have been making this demand for a long time. No government has fulfilled their demands. They demanded the nationalization of jobs from the interim government.

Ilias Ahmed, working as a copyist at the Kurigram District Sub-Registry Office, said, "We, the copyists of all Bangladesh, have united. We will request Legal Advisor Asif Nazrul Sir to nationalize all copyists. We will request our IGR Sir and the secretaries of the Secretariat to be kind to the copyists. We have been suffering from discrimination for a long time and have been working tirelessly without food. We have started the movement with the hope that 16,000 families can survive on pulses and rice. We will continue the movement until our demands are met."
