The District Traffic Department has distributed free helmets in Thakurgaon to increase awareness about the protection of drivers and riders in motorcycle accidents on the road and encourage the use of helmets by motorcycle drivers and riders. Superintendent of Police Uttam Prasad Pathak inaugurated the program as the chief guest at the bus stand area of the city yesterday afternoon organized by the district traffic department. Free helmets and flowers were distributed to motorcyclists and riders. Additional Superintendent of Police Liza Begum, Additional Superintendent of Police Sadar Circle Mithun Sarkar, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station ABM Feroze Wahid, and District Traffic Police officers were present at the event.
