Upazila primary school teachers held a protest rally against the formation of the so-called pocket committee of the elementary teachers' association of some teachers in Kasba of Brahmanbaria.
They organized this protest rally at Food Palace Chinese restaurant in Municipal city on Wednesday evening at 6 pm. About 3 hundred teachers of the upazila participated in the rally.
The speakers said that no teacher will accept the evil practice of forming the so-called pocket committee under the leadership of Shahadat Hossain, the head teacher of Government Primary School of Syedabad (retd) Upazila, President of Brahmanbaria District Primary Teachers' Association. The teachers present strongly condemned such activities.
The protest rally was presided over by the head teacher of Dhamsar Government Primary School of Upazila Md Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan and the head teacher of Mirtala Government Primary School Farooq Ahmed Bhuiyan conducted the protest rally.
Saidur Rahman Khan, assistant teacher of Brahmangram Government Primary School, Harunur Rashid Bhuia, assistant teacher of Badair Government Primary School, Abul Hasnat, principal of Delhi-Pataisa Government Primary School, Nazir Ahmed, headmaster of Chapia Government Primary School, Dakshin Shahpur Government Primary School Headmaster Md Mominul Islam, Headmaster Shyamnagar Govt Primary School Khorshed Alam, Headmaster Chatuakhla Govt Primary School Shah Aliullah, Shahpur Govt Primary School Headmaster Mozammel Haque, Acting Headmaster Khirnal Govt Primary School Farooq Islam Munsi, Bagabari Govt Primary School Assistant Teacher Al Amin, Assistant Teacher Iqbal Hossain of Jajisa Government Primary School etc spoke.
