A case has been filed in the Jessore court against 10 policemen, including the former OC of Bagharpara police station, in connection with the murder of farmer Raju Ahmed of Dighalsingha village in Chougacha, Jashore in police custody.
Kohinur Begum, the mother of Raju who died last Monday, filed the case as the plaintiff. Senior District and Sessions Judge Sheikh Nazmul Alam has set a date for the order after hearing the complaint on October 21, along with summoning the documents of the murder case filed earlier in the incident. Ruhin Baluch, the plaintiff's lawyer, confirmed the matter.
The accused in the case are former OC of Bagharpara police station Sheikh Wahiduzzaman, SI Nasirul Haque Khan, SI Shah Alam, ASI Shamim Reza, ASI Debashish Mondal, ASI Farooq Hossain, Constable Jinnah Ali, Constable Zillur Rahman, Constable Golam Mostafa and SI Jamal of Chougacha police station.
