Its meat is also in great demand due to its high taste and nutritional value. It is a crossbreed of our local sheep with the small Nagpuri breed of sheep from the Nagpur region of India. This crossbreed is called ram sheep. Currently, he is earning lakhs of taka a year by raising this ram sheep and his family is running. He said that a goat gives birth to 3 kids. Each two-month-old kid is sold for Tk 5-6 thousand. Many householders and farmers are raising this animal on individual initiative. They are as innocent and stupid as sheep. They look a little more beautiful than sheep. They are more like lambs. It is a breed of sheep. Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Anuarul Karim said, ram sheep is a breed of sheep.
