Three people have been caught red-handed while consuming and selling drugs in Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU).
On Friday, under the direction of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Kazi Rafiqul Islam, the university security team headed by Mukit Mia, head of the security branch, went out for regular supervision in the university area at 7 pm. Based on intelligence, 2 drug addicts were caught red-handed while consuming drugs in the area adjacent to the pond behind the administrative building of the university. They are Iqbal Aziz (18) son of Aminul Islam of Rajakhali village of Dumki upazila of Patuakhali and Md Rafi Khandkar (17) son of Kalam Khandkar of South Dumki village. They were handed over to the University Proctoral Body by the security wing personnel.
