Vegetable garden like national flag

Sherpur Agricultural Training Institute students made a replica of the national flag at vegetable field in the month of Bijay. The students made this as a part of assignment inspired by their teachers. People from different classes are flocking every day to see this vegetable field cultivated in the pattern of the national flag.

According to Institute, teachers and students of the institution took such different initiatives on the occasion of Victory Day to spread the spirit of liberation war among the new generation. 80 feet long, 48 feet wide and 16 feet radius of the circle in the middle, the national flag is depicted with various green vegetables and red vegetables.

Locals said, the students made the national flag in the fields and showed their genuine love for the country. They are very happy to do such work.

Md Saiful Azam Khan, Acting Principal of Agricultural Training Institute of Sherpur said, on the occasion of the month of Victory, we gave the students the assignment of making the national flag out of vegetables. They have done it quite nicely. In the future, we are planning to build a crop field on the model of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and memorial.

It is noted, Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui, the head teacher of Dhanshail Balika High School in Jhenaigati Upazila, responded by creating a replica of the map and national flag of Bangladesh with green and purple rice seedlings in his own crop field.
