Woman held with 50 Bottles of Phensedyl

The Sarail Police arrested a drug trafficker named Tahmina Sarker (28) with 50 bottles of Phensedyl.

She is reported to be the daughter of Abdul Barek Mia, a resident of the South Para area in Ostogram, East Union, Talshahar, under the Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station.

Based on secret information, the Sarail Police, led by Sub-Inspector Md Abu Taher, conducted an anti-drug operation in front of the Sabuj Bangla Hotel in Islamabad (Gogda), under the Noagao Union of Sarail Upazila, on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway yesterday afternoon, with assistance from fellow officers.

During the operation, the police searched a passenger bus of Ena Paribahan heading towards Dhaka. During the search, they found 50 bottles of Phensedyl, a banned drug, with a woman passenger. The woman was immediately arrested.

Sarail Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Hasan confirmed the incident and stated that legal action is being taken against the female drug trafficker found with the 50 bottles of Phensedyl.
