Orientation workshop held under National Tuberculosis Control Program at Chaugachha, Jashore.
This workshop was held yesterday at 11 am in the auditorium of Upazila Brac Office, jointly organized by Health Department and Brac to raise awareness on diarrhea, covid-19, malaria, dengue fever.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sushmita Saha was present as the chief guest in the event. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Lutfun Nahar Lucky was the special guest. 15 teachers from three educational institutions of the upazila participated in the orientation workshop.
Jashore District Back Health Program Manager Lokman Hossain presented the keynote on the subject. Besides, Chowagacha Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Lutfun Nahar Lucky discussed and gave advice on medical issues.
The Orientation Program was supervised and supported by BRAC's Jashore District Coordinator Almasur Rahman.
It was informed in the workshop that RBC is working across the country with the health department of the government to reduce the disease to zero by 2035. The main objective of this orientation is to promote among the students the severity and prevention of those diseases and how to take and get the antidote.
