Good Neighbors Bangladesh, Ghatail CDP, an international voluntary organization, celebrated the World Children's Day at Shaliyajani of Deulabari Union of Ghatail Upazila of Tangail.
On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of World Children's Day organized by Goodneighbors Bangladesh Ghatail CDP at CDC premises yesterday afternoon.
Sharmin Nasrin, Manager of Good Neighbors Bangladesh Ghatail CDP presided over the discussion. Upazila Women Affairs Officer Tapashi Seal was present as the chief guest. Sona Moni Khanam, Headmaster of Good Neighbors High School, Zakia, Program Officer of Good Neighbors High School were also present on the occasion.
Speakers at the rally said that the leadership of the future will be entrusted to the children of today. For the full development of children, patriotism and humanitarian qualities will have to be developed in them from childhood. The role of parents, family and society is immense in the implementation of children's rights.
They also urged the government as well as non-government organizations to come forward for the welfare of the children, saying that children will be well among all, they will light the light of hope in the country, society and family.
