The Bankers` Welfare Association Bangladesh (BWAB) organized a discussion meeting on February 21 to mark International Mother Language Day and Shaheed Day.
The President of the association presided over the meeting, Kazi Md Shafiqur Rahman (Former MD & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank). The discussion was attended by the association’s General Secretary Md Emdad Hossain, members of the Executive Committee, Consultative Committee, Coordinator Team, and Bank Relationship Representatives.
During the discussion, the background and significance of Shaheed Day, as well as the importance of International Mother Language Day, were highlighted. Additionally, ten members were recognized and awarded certificates of appreciation for their contributions to the development and progress of the association throughout the year 2024.
