Fish, meat and vegetables are being sold at high prices like last week. Tk 80 to 100 or more per kg of all vegetables except some. Tk 400 per kg of raw chili in the market. Such information was found by visiting Sheorapara and Taltala markets in the capital yesterday.
It has been seen that most of the vegetables are being sold at last week's prices. Summer vegetables kachurmukhi are being sold at Tk 80 to Tk 100 per kg, brinjal at Tk 100 to Tk 140 per kg. In the market, bitter gourd is Tk 80 to Tk 100, kankarol Tk 120, potal Tk 80 to Tk 100, rinds Tk 100 and barb Tk 140. Each gourd is being sold at 60 to 80 taka. Papaya is selling at Tk 40 to Tk 50, Dhundul Tk 100, Chichinga Tk 100, Kachur Lati Tk 100 to Tk 120, Shrimp Tk 120, Cucumber Tk 80 to Tk 120 and Chilli at Tk 400.
In the markets, winter vegetables are being sold at Tk 480 per kg, cauliflower at Tk 60 to Tk 80 each, small size cabbage at Tk 80, ripe tomatoes at Tk 220 to Tk 250 per kg, carrot at Tk 180 and radish at Tk 80. Lemon Hali 30 to 60 Tk. Coriander leaves are Tk 600 per kg, raw banana is Tk 80, and pumpkin is Tk 80 each. Tk 60 to Tk 70 per kg of sweet pumpkin in the market.
Red vegetables are sold at Tk 25 , gourd vegetables at Tk 50, radish vegetables at Tk 25, kalmi vegetables at Tk 20, pui vegetables at Tk 40 and stem vegetables at Tk 30. In the markets, domestic onion has increased by Tk 5 per kg to Tk 125, ginger Tk 320, garlic Tk 220, new potato Tk 120, Bogra potato Tk 100 and old potato Tk 60 per kg. Like last week, all types of chicken are being sold at high prices. Broiler chicken is Tk 200 to Tk 210 per kg. Golden chicken is being sold at Tk 300 per kg increased by Tk 10. Golden hybrid is selling at Tk 270 per kg, country chicken at Tk 520, layer red chicken at Tk 330 and white layer at Tk 320.
In the markets, a dozen red eggs are being sold at Tk 165, a dozen duck eggs at Tk 230. And the price of domestic chicken eggs is Tk 90. In the market, the price of beef is Tk 650 to Tk 800, beef liver Tk 800, beef head Tk 450, beef leg Tk 350 to Tk 400 and goat meat Tk 1,150 to Tk 1,200 per kg.
In the market, the price of cultivated horn has increased from Tk 350 to Tk 450 per kg (depending on size), the price of cotton has increased from Tk 380 to Tk 500 per kg (depending on size), Desi Magur from Tk 800 to Tk 1,000, Mrigel Tk 320 to Tk 400, pangas Tk 200 to Tk 220, shrimp from Tk 700 to Tk 1,000, Boal Tk 500 to Tk 800, Katal Tk 400 to Tk 500, Poa Tk 450 to Tk 500, Pabda Tk 400 to Tk 450, Tilapia Tk 220, Kai Tk 220 to Tk 230, Mala Tk 550, Batasi Tengra Tk 1,000 to Tk 300, Tengra Tk 600. From Tk 800, Kachki Tk 500, Panchmishali Tk 220, Rupchanda Tk 1,200, Baim Tk 1,200 to Tk 1,400, Desi Kai Tk 1,200, Shoal Tk 600 to Tk 900, Id Tk 650 to Tk 800, Bele Tk 800 And Kaikkya is being sold at the rate of Tk 600 per kg. Five kg soybean oil is selling at Tk 818, desi lentil at Tk 140, mung dal at Tk 180, miniket rice at Tk 75 to Tk 78, Nazirshail at Tk 75 to Tk 80 per kg.
