ICSB Organized inauguration of 53rd batch of chartered secretary Course

Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has organized an Orientation Program for the students of 53rd Batch of Chartered Secretary (CS) Course on Wednesday, 7 February 2024 at 06:30 pm at ICSB premises. The Inauguration Session was attended by a good number of students.

Mr. Md Zakir Hossain, Secretary & Chief Executive Officer of the Institute moderated the program. At the outset, he welcomed the newly admitted students to their new chapter of life. 

Mr. Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat FCS, Council Member and Chairman of Education Committee appraised about the course and class conducting system of ICSB. He briefly explained the prospects of the Chartered Secretary profession and assured constant cooperation from ICSB.

Delivering his welcome remarks, Mr. Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Council Member and Chairman of Examination Committee discussed the examination system of ICSB.

Mr. Mohammad Asad Ullah FCS, President of the Institute inaugurated the 53rd Batch of Chartered Secretary (CS) Course by greeting students. He urged the students to strive for academic excellence, personal values and social concern. He said that the CS profession is a challenging and rewarding profession in the corporate world and also focused on the huge opportunities in the corporate sector at home and abroad. He also briefly discussed about the profession and its background in Bangladesh and worldwide. He informed CS curriculum, classes and advised students to attend classes regularly and attentively; also advised them to follow the professional code of conduct of the Institute. 

Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman ndc, Council Member and Registrar of RJSC wholeheartedly welcomed the newly admitted students and focused on the importance of the Chartered Secretary profession.

Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer of the Institute welcomed all new students and expressed that Chartered Secretary is a challenging profession where students need to be passionate in learning with their sincerest effort.

Among other dignitaries, Mr. A. K. M. Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President, Mr. Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid FCS, Council Member were also present and highlighted some important points regarding CS Course in the program. The question and answer session was very spontaneous where students participated with relevant questions.

At the end of the program, Mr. Oli Kamal FCS, Council Member of the Institute offered vote of thanks and closing remarks on behalf of the Institute.
