Prices in kitchen market ease little

-Vegetable price decreased by Tk 10 -20 per kg

-Although hilsa available, price has not down

-Rice increased by Tk 2 to Tk 5 per kg

 

As the supply of daily commodities increases, the prices of all types of vegetables have decreased by Tk 10 to Tk 20 per kg in the markets of the capital. At the same time, the prices of sonali chicken, layer and desi chicken have decreased in the markets. However, the supply of hilsa in the markets has increased and the price of fish has remained stable.

This picture was seen yesterday in Sipaibag and Taltola market of the capital. In the markets, brinjal at Tk 60 to Tk 80, bitter gourd at Tk 60 to Tk 80, kankarol at Tk 70, potal at Tk 40 to Tk 50, gourd at Tk 40, gourd at Tk 60, Papaya is being sold at Tk 40 per kg, Dhundal at Tk 50 to Tk 60, Chichinga at Tk 60, Kachur Lati at Tk 70 to Tk 80 and Cucumber at Tk 40 to Tk 50 per kg.

In the markets, cauliflower is being sold at Tk 40 to Tk 50 per piece, ripe tomatoes at Tk 150 to Tk 160 per kg and carrots at Tk 160 per kg.In these markets, lemon juice is being sold at Tk 15 to Tk 30, coriander at Tk 350 to Tk 400 per kg. Apart from this, green bananas are being sold at Tk 40, sweet pumpkin at Tk 40 to Tk 50 per kg. However, green chillies are being sold at the rate of Tk 280 per kg down by Tk 40 compared to last week.

Due to high prices, many traders have stopped selling green chillies. They also said that the prices have increased due to low supply. Apart from this, it has been seen that lal shak are being sold at Tk 15, Laushak at Tk 40, Mulashak at Tk 15, Spinach at Tk 15 to Tk 20, Kalmi at Tk 10, Puishak at Tk 30. In the markets, local onion has decreased by Tk 5 per kg to Tk 115 per kg and potato has increased by Tk 5 to Tk 60 per kg.

It has been seen that broiler chickens are being sold at the rate of Tk 160 to 165 per kg within a week. Sonali chicken is also being sold at the rate of Tk 220 per kg reduced by Tk 20 in the markets. Sonali hybrid is selling at Tk 200, local chicken at Tk 500, layer red chicken at Tk 290 and white layer at Tk 280 per kg.

In these markets, beef is being sold at Tk 650 to Tk 780 per kg, beef liver at Tk 780, beef head at Tk 450, beef leg at Tk 350 to Tk 400 and goat meat at Tk 1,150 to Tk 1,200 per kg. In the markets, a dozen red eggs are being sold at Tk155, duck eggs at Tk180 and local chicken eggs at Tk85.

Although there is a large supply of hilsa fish in the market, the price has not decreased. However, other fish are being sold at the previous price. During the week, hilsa fish weighing 500 grams is sold at Tk 900 to Tk 1,100 per kg, fish of 700 to 800 grams is sold at Tk 1,400 to Tk 1,500 per kg, one kg of horn fish (depending on size) is sold at Tk 350 to Tk 500 per kg, Tilapia is being sold at Tk 250 to Tk 300. Big river prawns are being sold at Tk 1400 per kg, small prawns at Tk 1200 and very small at Tk 1000 per kg. The big Baim of the river is being sold at Tk 1200 and the small Baim at Tk 1000 per kg.

Large fish of the river is being sold at Tk 1200 per kg, Poa fish at Tk 500 per kg, big Baila of the river at Tk 1200 and small Baila at Tk 800 per kg, large hilsa at Tk 1800 and Hilsa weighing 800 grams at Tk 1600. In these markets, 5 kg soybean oil is selling at Tk 818, desi lentil at Tk 140, miniket rice at Tk 73 to Tk 75, Nazir Shail at Tk 75 to Tk 80, garlic at Tk 220 and ginger at Tk 260 per kg.
