After cutting this native banana from the hill area, farmers were seen bringing this to local markets for sale. CHT is one of the leading producers of fruits and other healthy food and products in Bangladesh. The price of the fruits and vegetables and other nutricious products are cheap here. The main income source of Indigenous people is cultivation of fruits and vegetables and rice and other Spices.
