Abu Zafar (35), a teacher of Kurigram's Ulipur, raised the image of the national flag with seedlings in the middle of the paddy field during the month of great independence. He got much praise for creating a paddy field on his land in the national flag pattern.
Abu Jafar Sadiq is the son of Abu Bakar Siddique of East Naodanga Bakar Hat area of Ulipur Upazila Municipality. He is working as an assistant teacher at Ulipur Model Primary School.
After visiting, it was seen that Abu Jafar cultivated rice in 30 satak land on the eastern side of Ulipur-bound Road in the Bakrer Hat area. In the meantime, the picture of the national flag has been designed across the field of one satak land with green seedlings. The flag pole has been designed by planting purple rice seedlings on the side of the land aisle. He planted the green seedlings of Biri-104 variety of rice with flag texture and the purple rice seedlings rich in zinc in circles and flag poles. In the beginning, a clear image could not be understood, but now the field is visible due to the maturity of the paddy trees. Every day people rush to see the paddy fields in the pattern of such an exceptional flag.
Abu Zafar said, I do agriculture as well as teaching. People want to present themselves in different ways to express their love for the country. I was just trying too. People's interest increased as the paddy field modeled after the national flag was visible during the month of independence.
Kurigram District Agriculture Extension Directorate Deputy Director Biplab Kumar Mohanta said that a farmer has painted a national flag pattern on the land as a sign of love for the country that deserves praise.
