A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Emporia State University (ESU) of USA and Dhaka University (DU) was signed on today at the VC’s meeting room of DU.
DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Associate Dean of ESU Prof. Dr. William Phillips signed the MoU on behalf of their respective university.
Prof. Dr. Shamsad Mortuza of DU English Department, Prof. Dr. Md. Rakibul Hoque of DU Management Information Systems Department and Associate Professor Dr. Mohammed Sajedur Rahman of ESU were present on the occasion.
According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Emporia State University will jointly conduct academic and research programs. Besides, these two universities will exchange academic information, materials and publications as well as faculty members, students and researchers. They will jointly organize seminar, symposium and conference.
