Free Medical Camp by OneLight Foundation in Faridganj on Friday

Faridganj, Chandpur – The voluntary organization The OneLight Foundation is set to organize a free medical camp in the village of Dhanua, Faridganj, Chandpur, on Friday, 28 February 2025. The camp will run throughout the day with the participation of a distinguished team of specialist doctors and the assistance of a dedicated volunteer group.

According to the organizing committee, the primary goal of this initiative is to provide free advanced medical consultation and treatment services to the rural poor and underprivileged communities, ensuring better healthcare access to those in need.

The medical services will be provided by a team of expert specialists, including:

  • Dr. Al-Mamun Sikdar – Cardiologist
  • Dr. Abu Bakr Siam – Internal Medicine Specialist
  • Dr. Masud Rana Noyon – Orthopedic Specialist
  • Dr. Mohammad Tariqul Islam – Gastroenterology Specialist

The media partner for the free medical camp is Bangladesh Khobor. Additionally, the voluntary partner HOV AUST Chapter, led by Mr. Shah Murtoza Morshed and Ms. Afia Ahsan, Lecturer at Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology, will actively contribute to the event. They will also collaborate with the Occupational Safety and Human Factors Engineering Society (OSHEFES) to provide lab support for the medical campaign.

Speaking about the initiative, Nur Sarah Qader, founder of The OneLight Foundation, stated, "We are organizing this free medical camp for the people of Faridganj with the aim of not only providing medical services but also raising awareness about health and well-being. We want to encourage people to adopt a healthier lifestyle."
