Kamal Uddin becomes sec of ministry of cultural affairs

Md Kamal Uddin has been promoted to Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. 

He previously served as the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Tuesday stating this.
Kamal Uddin did his Masters in Social Welfare from Dhaka University. This officer of the 11th batch of BCS administration cadre has served in various important departments since he joined the service. He was kept as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) when the Awami League was in power. After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government in the face of intense student and public agitation, many deprived officials got promotions. Among them, Kamal Uddin also got promoted and became Secretary.
A total of seven additional secretaries including Kamal Uddin got promoted and became Secretary yesterday. 

After the promotion, they were posted to 9 ministries and departments. Of these, the offices of two secretaries have been changed. According to the notification, the Additional Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division Mahbubur Rahman has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division Zaheda Parvin has been appointed as the Secretary (Coordination and Reforms) of the Cabinet Division. Secretary of the Cabinet Division (Coordination and Reforms) Md. Mahmudul Hossain Khan has been transferred as a member of the Planning Commission. OSD  Secretary Md. Mostafizur Rahman has been appointed as the Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. In addition, an Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Aleya Akhter has been appointed as the Secretary of the Statistics and Information Management Division. Chairman (Grade-1) of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) Md. Tajul Islam has been given the responsibility of the Secretary of the Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division. Additional Secretary of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms Md. Mizanur Rahman has been promoted and appointed as the Secretary of the Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat. 

In addition, Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Additional Project Director (Additional Secretary) of the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project, has been promoted and appointed as Secretary of the Bridges Division.
