On the occasion of World Anesthesia Day, United Healthcare Services Limited and its affiliates MA Rashid Hospital of Jamalpur and Medics of Dhanmondi celebrated the day through various activities throughout the day.
Earlier in the day, United Healthcare Services Limited in United City and MA Rashid Hospital in Jamalpur took out a rally with their respective specialist doctors and medical professionals. Doctors also talk to the public in their respective areas to explain the importance of anesthesia and to increase public awareness as well as to remove the fear of anesthesia among general public. They believe that this will clear up misconceptions about anesthesia and make sure everyone knows the right information.
Also United Healthcare Services Limited based in United City organizes a scientific discussion program. In this discussion, Dr Ashfaq Bar Chowdhury, Associate Consultant of United Healthcare's Anesthesiology Department, discussed the history of anesthesia, its prevalence and the main theme of this year's World Anesthesia Day, "Workforce Wellbeing". He mentioned, "Our aim is to ensure the safety of patients and always remain committed to health protection." The event was attended by doctors and medical professionals from MA Rashid Hospital, Jamalpur and Dhanmondi Medics, including anesthesia department and other departments.
