Kurigram Public Prosecutor SM Abraham Lincoln was felicitated by the Kurigram Judiciary for being awarded the Ekushey Padak and Sadhinota Padak. Yesterday morning Kurigram District and Sessions Judge Alamgir Kabir was formally honored with flowers and crest in his chambers. He was the only lawyer in the country who has been awarded the Ekushey Padak and the Sadhinota Padak simultaneously. He received the Ekushey Padak in 2022 and the Sadhinota Padak in March this year. Kurigram District and Sessions Judge Alamgir Kabir, Women and Children Tribunal Judge District Judge SM Noorol Islam, Chief Judicial Magistrate Alamgir Kabir Shipon, Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdus Salam, Joint District Judge Habibur Rahman, District Bar Association President Advocate Khurshid Alam, General Secretary Advocate Nazmul Islam along with officers of the judicial department and members of the District Bar Association.
