Agricultural machinery has been distributed among the farmer of various unions of the upazila under the project of strengthening nutrition and food security through agricultural development in Ranishankail upazila of Thakurgaon. The distribution ceremony was held yesterday at the agricultural office premises organized by Ranishankoil Upazila Agricultural Extension Department. Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Upazila Parishad Administrator Rakibul Hasan presided. Thakurgaon Agriculture Extension Department Additional Deputy Director (Plant Conservation) Alauddin Sheikh, Upazila Agriculture Officer Shahidul Islam and others were present in the distribution ceremony. At this time, various agricultural machinery including LL P (shallow), maize sheller , foot pump, sprayer and ribbon pipe were distributed among the different farmer of 8 unions of the upazila.
