The Directorate General of Health Services‍‍` (DGHS) interim director general (DG) is Professor Ahmedul Kabir (DGHS).

A notice that was released today states that Prof. Kabir will carry out normal tasks up until the appointment of a new DG. Since Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam‍‍`s term as director-general ended on December 31, 2022, the position has remained empty.
